A little known fact about the song "Nobody
Does It Better", used as the theme tune for the James
Bond film "The Spy Who Loved Me", is that it
was originally written about an unknown Englishman who
Ms Simon met at Butlins Holiday Camp, Skegness in the 1970's. She
became infatuated with him and wrote the song about
his superlative lovemaking. The chorus "Baby your
the best" was originally "Burgin your the best".
Burgin went on to captain England at both rugby, football
and cricket. Was Formula
1 world champion racing driver 3 years
on the trot and scored the winning goal for Sheffield Wednesday
at wembley in the FA cup final. Finally retiring to politics.
(I know, I know... that bit about Sheffield Wednesday gives
it away)
